I know because I've been there too.
Hi, I'm Autumn! I was a classroom teacher for four years, and for a long time, I genuinely thought teaching was what I was supposed to do forever. Until I realized I didn't want to do it for my whole working life.
When I started looking at careers outside the classroom, I had no idea what I was doing. I was trying to figure out what jobs I could even do, whether I was qualified, and how to get employers to understand what I brought to the table, all while still teaching full time.
Eventually, I landed my first role outside the classroom. Four years later, I still work full time in corporate, make more than I did teaching, have way more flexibility, and genuinely enjoy what I do.

What if I already know what kind of job I want?
Great! You don't need to spend forever figuring out what's next if you already know. You can move into translating your experience, building your materials, networking, applying, and interviewing. This isn't a program where everyone has to follow the exact same timeline.
What if I'm not a classroom teacher?
You're still welcome here! While Career Change Academy was created by a former teacher and is primarily designed with teachers in mind, we've also had other school-based professionals come through the program. If you're trying to figure out what's next and translate your experience into a new career, there's plenty here for you too.
How much time should I plan to spend on the program?
There's no set timeline you have to follow. Career Change Academy was built knowing you may be doing this around a full-time job, family, and everything else life throws at you. The 28 lessons are bite-sized, and you can work through them at your own pace.
Is Career Change Academy completely self-paced?
The lessons are, but the support doesn't stop there. You'll also have access to the private community, monthly Q&A office hours, and coworking sessions along the way.
